Ulysse et Alice is the first French-language book in Quebec, available for children, about a boy with two same-sex parents. For children 4-8 years old, this story shows that even though families come in all different shapes and size, on an everyday level they’re really very similar. The book is a useful tool for teaching diversity to very young children. It is accompanied by a teachers’ guide in both English and French.
