The LGBT+ Families Coalition offers a diverse range of training programs on sexual and gender diversity. To accommodate your needs and constraints, the training sessions are designed to last anywhere from one hour to a full day. These training sessions can be conducted virtually or at your location, throughout the entire province.

Who we are: a training team composed of professionals from various backgrounds such as law, education, sociology, social work, sexology, and more. This diversity of skills enables us to provide comprehensive training tailored to the specific needs of each group or organization.

For whom: Future professionals and practitioners in a college or university course setting; Professionals and practitioners already in practice.

Here are some topics that we cover in various training sessions:

  • Promoting the inclusion of sexual and gender diversity in elementary schools;
  • Intervening with LGBTQ2+ youth;
  • Becoming more inclusive in family community organizations and childcare settings;
  • Understanding and welcoming trans and non-binary individuals in perinatal care;
  • Embracing sexual and gender diversity in physical education and sports;
  • Enhancing understanding and intervention with trans and non-binary individuals;
  • Understanding basic words and concepts related to sexual and gender diversity; Understanding the evolution of LGBTQ2+ family rights in Quebec;
