The LGBT+ Families Coalition is proud to offer a unique training program at no cost to professionals and practitioners working with children, youth, and their families.

For whom: Recognized family community organizations (FCOs), whether officially recognized or not, childcare environments for young children, and students destined for these environments.

Topics covered:

  • Key themes on sexual and gender diversity;
  • Demystifying families with LGBT+ parents;
  • Intersectional and anti-oppressive social reflection on LGBT+phobias;
  • Discussions on issues faced by LGBT+ families;
  • Creating inclusive interventions and practices (role-playing scenarios);
  • How to promote inclusion in your environments (showcase);
