Realities of Living Outside of Large Urban Centres

Founded in Tiohtià;ke (Montreal) and having developed principally in this region, the LGBT+ Family Coalition is nevertheless a provincial organisation. We’re working towards undoing some of our bad habits of focusing only on large urban centres like Tiohtià;ke and Quebec City and to do so we’re consolidating our parterships with local LGBTQ2S+ regional organisations. Our goal? To regularly offer services and activities to families throughout Quebec.

Report on Families Living outside of Montreal

Thanks to the support of Women and Gender Equality Canada, the LGBT+ Family Coalition met up with LGBTQ+ families living in several regions outside of Montreal, to better understand their needs and interests to better serve them. Here is the report detailing this consultation which will be used to orient our actions to better support members all over Quebec.
