The LGBT+ Family Coalition is launching its first ever donation campaign

A campaign for whom?

The Coalition’s work is aimed at extended families, educators, teachers and all those whose daily lives are illuminated by the presence of a child whose parents are LGBT+. The Coalition invites them to change lives by participating in building a world without homophobia and without transphobia where all families are celebrated!

More than 20 years ago, when LGBT+ parents and future parents united to have their rights to create a family recognized, they changed the face of Quebec. Even today, many activists from that era are loyal to the LGBT+ Family Coalition. Each year, they generously give us the means to pursue advocacy for the rights and the social advancement of our families towards full equity.

This year, you can join them.

Are you grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins? Show your joy at having a little sunshine in your life from a family of two dads, two moms or any LGBT+ configuration whatsoever!

Change lives

Becoming a donor allows you to play an active role in the fight against homophobia and transphobia, as well as in the full recognition and development of LGBT+ families. Thanks to your support, the Coalition team can:

• support LGBT+ parents and their children by ensuring that their rights progress and are respected;

• break the isolation that weighs heavily on LGBT+ families;

• raise awareness among health, social services and education professionals through training and tailor-made tools.
