There are many types of adoption.<\/p>\n<p>International adoption is unfortunately not available to many LGBTQ2S+ people because most countries of origin, where adoptable children are born, have restrictions around gender and sexual diversity.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, adoption in Quebec is accessible to our communities. The process generally chosen, because it is more rapid, is called the \u00abMixed Bank\u00bb. Adoption of children whose parents relinquish their rights immediately at birth is also possible, but much rarer.
